The Palace of Eternal Spring (Chang Chun Gong) is alledgedly the Palace where the ailing and old Kangxi Emperor of the Ching Dynasty, spoke out his official nomination for the next Crown Prince. Kangxi was 69 years of Age at the Time. It was the year 1722 AD.
The fourteenth son, Yin Ri, was nominated rather than earlier appointed Prince Yin Reng, the second son.
