The Palace Museum is very close to and located directly North of TiananMen Square.
Opening Hours are 8:30 AM to 17:00 PM in High Season from April 16Th to October 15Th. In this period ticket sales cease at 16:00 PM.
In the low season the Palace Museum Opens it's doors at 8:30 AM to 16:30 PM, with ticket sales ceasing at 15:30 PM.
Ticket prices vary according to season. The Clocks & Watches Museum demands an extra 10 Yuan (RMB) for entrance, as does the Hall of Treasures.
