A large inscribed plaque lines the eastern entrance to Upper Huayan Monastert Entrance Road. So far we havent translated it.
An empty entrance road to this important 12Th Century Monastery. Datong is not part of the major bus-tour China destinations and tourism is only just developing.

The dusty, old, but lively and beautifully worked Main Entrance South Gate to the Upper HuaYan Monastery. Visitors entrance is a small entrance adjacent to the right.
